My name is Leslie. I am an acute care psychiatric nurse, who has spent most of my life in the bush, hiking and exploring. As young as six years old I was wandering off into the local forests and fields, mesmerized by the streams hills surrounding the picturesque Creemore valley. Since then I have done multiple solo hikes around Ontario, including a three week solo trek along the Ganaraska Trail. Then there are the beagles; once there was three, now there is only one. I rescue senior beagles, and adore these independent and loving dogs. I also write a hiking article for the Springwater News Paper, which is pretty awesome. I love writing about my adventures, and hope to share my stories with a broader audience. I hope you will follow my treks, my troubles, and my love of hiking.
